Candlera Candle Sand are unscented. However, if you desire a scented experience, you can infuse the candle sand with your preferred essential or candle fragrance oil before lighting it. Please exercise caution when doing so, as oils are highly flammable and should never be added to a burning candle.
Each wick in our Candlera candle sand pack lasts about 10 hours. You receive 30 wicks with the 650g (1.43lb) pack, 90 wicks in the 3-Pack Kit, and 350 wicks in the 9.5kg (21lb) Bucket. Total burn time varies based on use. Factors like relighting wicks, adding more pearls, burning multiple wicks at once, and refresh intervals affect burn time. Typically, Candlera candle sand burns slower than traditional candles, so a 650g pack can provide over 80 hours of burn time, depending on your usage habits.
No, you can relight the same wick multiple times and burn it as long as it lasts. We provide a kit of wicks with every candle sand pack so you can refresh your candle as often as you'd like to make it look new again. You can also cut the wick and re-use the part that hasn't been used yet or flip the wick to bury the melt pool for zero waste while still making your candle look brand new. Keep in mind that cutting the wick will shorten the burn time.
If your wick extinguishes quickly, it's likely because the wick tip is positioned too far above the candle sand. To ensure a longer burn time, insert the wick so that it protrudes about 0.5 cm above the surface. Avoid leaving the wick sticking out too far, as this can shorten the burn time.
Yes, our candle sand is plant-based, clean-burning, and pet-friendly. While they are not technically edible and involve burning with real fire, they are non-toxic and not expected to be harmful if a small amount is ingested. However, we recommend keeping them out of reach of pets. Additionally, it's reassuring to know that pearled candles self-extinguish if accidentally spilled, as the pearls snuff the flame.
Absolutely! Our white candle pearls float on water. Add decorations into a vase, fill it with water until the decor is submerged, and then pour Candlera Sand on top. Pour at least 3cm (1.1 in) height of white pearls on top of the water, ensuring that the bottom of the wick does not touch the water.
